Sarah became a tenant of Ropewalk Chambers after successful completion of pupillage in 2015.

She studied law at the University of Sheffield where she graduated with a 2:1. She spent one of her four undergraduate years at Griffith University in Australia and obtained a High Distinction for that year.

She completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at Nottingham Law School, achieving the grade of Outstanding, for which she received the Buchanan Prize from Lincoln's Inn. She was also awarded the Taylor Prize by Nottingham Law School for obtaining the highest overall marks in her year.

Sarah won Sheffield University's mooting competition in her first semester of law school. Whilst studying the BPTC, she carried out pro bono work at the Nottingham Legal Advice Clinic.

Away from the Bar, Sarah enjoys travel and eating out, the latter perhaps arising from a lack of culinary interest, or skill.
