Alan has over thirty years’ clerking experience.

He started his career in London, working in both the Inner and Middle Temple before coming to Nottingham. He joined Chambers in September 2002 as the First Junior and is now the Deputy Senior Clerk.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, keeping one eye on West Ham’s fortunes (which are always hiding) and trying to stick to the Harcombe Diet.
